Mission Cultivate Bot Info

Mission Cultivate currently supports only a single and specific web bot for user-initiated actions.

Mission Cultivate:
  • Operates no autonomous web crawlers.
  • Does not indiscriminately crawl websites.
  • Does not follow additional links.
  • Does not index, store, or distribute content.
  • Does not access gated, authenticated, or user-restricted pages.

We make it easy for site managers and content owners to identify our user agent and to indicate their preferences by using industry-standard practices rather than non-standard formats like NoAI tags.

MissionCultivate-LinkPreview

The MissionCultivate-LinkPreview crawler performs user-initiated fetches of individual links to support specific functions of the product , such as to generate rich link previews (open-graph cards) that show a title, description, preview image, and URL. Because the fetch is always initiated by a user, this crawler may bypass robots.txt rules. This crawler is identified by the following UA string: MissionCultivate-LinkPreview/1.0 (+https://missioncultivate.com/legal/bot-info; support@missioncultivate.com)

Caching behavior

Preview metadata may be cached for a limited time to avoid multiple fetches of the same URL. If the link is reshared within that window, we typically do not re-request it.

How to block or rate limit

Although robots.txt does not apply, MissionCultivate-LinkPreview honors:

  • HTTP 403 Forbidden
  • HTTP 401 Unauthorized
  • HTTP 429 Too Many Requests
  • IP-level blocks
  • Firewall blocks targeting our User-Agent

Sites may block us at any time using standard server-side controls.
